Amy's Christmas Kittens

Amy's kittens finally arrived on November 24 - three very fat and healthy little ones. It's to early to know the sexes of the kittens but all are doing very well as you can see in the photo above.
The father of this brood is Samovar's Buck of Mishablu and together he and Amy have had some wonderfully funny and sweet cats. Buck has incredibly thick, soft fur which always seems to show up on his babies and Amy's zany personality always to seems to arrive as well! New adoptive parents need to be prepared for engaging and inventive kittens who will be happy to take over the running of their household.
Our New Stud-To-Be
Meet Platina Luna's Mercury of Mishablu. Our previous stud, Platina Luna's Jake of Mishablu, has fathered some fabulous kittens and Grand Champions to boot, but he would like his own home now. So we went back to the wonderful cattery where we got sweet Jake and were lucky enough to score this handsome little guy!
Mercury is a repeat of the breeding that produced the 2009 CFA 2nd Best Cat (worldwide) and the Best Russian Blue cat (also worldwide.) So you can see why we are so grateful to have this lovely kitten in our cattery. As soon as you look at Mercury, he starts purring - even in the show ring. Obviously, this goes over well with the judges! Mercury has done very well in his shows so far - even getting a Best Kitten in Show in one ring last weekend.

Mishablu Cattery
Welcome to our Russian Blue website. Mishablu Cattery only breeds CFA Registered Russian Blue cats as a hobby for showing. We do, however, adopt out those kittens whom we decide not to show. We are not a business so you will not find an LLC designation after our name.
Some important things to know about Mishablu:
None of our Russian Blue kittens or cats are ever kept in
cages. They live in our home and are treated as members of the family.
We never inbreed:
our first concern is health, then personality and lastly appearance.
We do not
ship our cats and require that they be kept indoors at all times, never caged and never
declawed.
Our email address
is ColleenOK@gmail.com.

Kitten Photos
These little ones are ready for some exploring. In some of the close-ups you can see their gossamer fine whiskers. At two weeks old, they still cannot retract their claws but they can make a lot of noise if they don't like what is happening!
And Everyone Else...
Meanwhile, the other cats are snoozing or chasing light flickering on the wall behind the sofa.
