Two New Litters
When both Paris and Peek came into season at the same time, we made the decision to breed them both. Paris and Han got together (his first litter) and Peek and Jake had a tryst. The two girls obligingly had their litters within 24 hours of each other and are job sharing at this time.
Peek had three kittens on May 1 and Paris had four kittens on May 2. Both litters are doing well and the girls are buddies as you can see in the photo below. They are raising their litters in our bedroom so we can keep an eye on everyone.

We have not attempted to figure out boys from girls right now as it is very hard to do at this age. We are just happy that all the babies are healthy and eating well. Of course, things can get a little disorganized...

Mary and Han Score
Mary (see the photo above our Mishablu logo left) and kitten Harry have both scored Midwest Regional wins by being in the top 25 cats in our region. Mary is also 9th best Russian Blue cat and Harry is 6th best Russian Blue kitten in the CFA. Both could care less but we thought Harry deserved to have his photo on the front page of our site. Here he is showing his usual blasé attitude. But he still has that little Russian Blue smile.
